Perfect for what we wanted - comfortable and quiet with enough facilities in the room so that breakfast and snacks could be taken whenever wanted. Staff were friendly and smart. Great central location for any sightseeing in the city.

Excellent location (just off the Royal Mile), facilities were superb and the view from the suite was fabulous. Breakfast was excellent.

We stayed here during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and found that it was located perfectly for the vast majority of venues. When going to/from the station I would advise using the new steps as this saves lots of time.

All wonderful especially the staff - only one problem with not being able to open the windows and was very hot on 6th floor - however, fan was fab. This is a central but oh so quiet hotel - really really recommended.

you MUST eat at Monteiths [Royal Mile] but even better value for money WEDGWOOD - excellent - Royal Mile 267 Canongate! Try the lovely BYO alcohol middle eastern just on the terrace [Victoria Terrace?] really fresh and cheap.

Great location, rooms were lovely and clean, modern and spacious and had everything i needed.

Get on the open top bus tour if you've never been to Edinburgh before its a great way to see the sights. The main reason for my trip was to see the Military Tattoo which was fantastic, very busy everywhere though as the Fringe Festival was on too.

Ideally located, just off the Royal Mile and a couple of minutes' walk from Waverley Station (although its uphill or up steps - bear this in mind if you've got cases). Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall a a very nice play to stay.
