A superb location.

The Grassmarket is a fantastic area to be based in. Apart from the immediate resturaunts and pubs in that area, there are dozens more to be found on The Royal Mile, which is just a minute's walk away.

Dirty and Seen it's day. The first room I was put into had no quilt!! Not ideal for a winter in Scotland!! Receptionists quite helpful. Only good point is very local to main town, hear that it gets really noisy at weekend though and full og hena dn stag do's! About all the accomodation is good for I'd say.

The Irish bar joined onto the hotel is a great place to spend a night out. A great location for all the attractions in the old part of the city.

No Breakfast, very noisy as room was above the bar and it was open till 0300 hours. The external window sill was littered with cigarette ends. No view other than an in use kitchen area. Room was very clean and tidy
