Excellent value for money, and in a good location.
Modern, clean room with a great shower.
Staff were helpfull.
Managed to get one of the hotel's car park spaces, which @ £12 per night, is good value in Edinburgh. Castle, Princess St., Grass Market all 10min walk away.
Top Tip
Eat at 'The Witchery' if possible, much £££'s but a fantastic treat.

The only negative point I would make is that the showers are far too hot - it was impossible to get the right temperature, there didn't seem to be any cold water. Just be careful if you shower at this hotel.

This hotel provided us with the ideal location to the Royal mile and Hollyrood park.
The only aspect I would warn the less mobile is you are either walking up or down hill a lot of other guests had taxi's but we found it ok. The food in the hotel was very good but the menu was limited.
Top Tip
tThere are numerous restaurants within walking distance. Edinburgh is the best city we have visited, the people are welcoming and there is so much to do you are spoilt for choice.
