Receptuion staff under pressure. took 1 hour to find a fax that had been sent for my attention, and failed to advise me of telephone messages left for me.

We really enjoyed our stay! My parents are elderly and they enjoyed the rest. On the flip side myself and my husband enjoyed the location for nightlife. The hotel catered to both our agendas really well. Just remember to stick your do not disturb sign outside the door if you don't want an over enthusiastic cleaner to wake you at 8am!

The Club Room in the Dome across the street from the hotel is great for a laid back evening with super food.

The hotel more than exceeded our expectations, the staff were courteous and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here for a city break.

This hotel is a great location if you are on a shopping break as it is located in the new town with close proximity to all the shops. However it is only a relatively short walk across to the old town for all the sight seeing and tours. If you do feel tired after visiting the castle a taxi back will never cost more than £3-4!

This hotel is only a 5 minute walk from Princes Street. Very handy for Rose Street pubs and restaurants.

If you find that the hotel prices for Scottish breakfast is expensive at £16.50 you can stroll down to British Home Stores and get virtually the same thing for a fiver.
