Previously when we stayed in this hotel we were very pleased with its location and breakfast facilities. However this year when we booked accommodation with you we feel you should have mentioned that breakfast facilities were in a late opening bar beside the hotel, and the hotel did not still have its own separate breakfast area. Hotel residents did not have a private, quiet, area to have their breakfast but had to eat their breakfast like pub grub.
Also although unfortunately, out of the control of the hotel late night opening hours, stag and hen parties made it almost impossible to get a good nights sleep. For these two reasons we will not be staying at this hotel again.

Edinburgh is a wonderful city with plenty of things to do and see. Has still retained its character. People very friendly. A place I always like to visit.

Please note that disabled access is difficult to many of the rooms. Steep ramps are placed over short flights of stairs and some of the rooms are in a part of the building that is not served by the lift.

we would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to edinburgh, the only little complaint is that there was a fair bit of noise throughout the night, from the street outside, so no complaints about the hotel itself. the staff were all very pleasant, and the room was spotlessly clean. the breakfast in the morning was really nice too.
