WE both felt that the hotel would benefit from a general re-decoration as the first impression when entering is that it seems tired. I cannot fault the food which was both good quality and good value, not too expensive. The staff were all very courteous. Definitely eat in at least once on your stay.

Italian restaurant left out of the hotel and on the corner is excellent value and quality.

Initial impression poor. Hotel feels tired, sad and in need of refurbishment. Room furniture broken, draws not fitting. Furnishings very poor. Carpets worn. Wallpaper peeling off. Breakfast in restaurant was fine.

Huge choice of restaurants, both in old and new towns. Royal Yacht worth a visit at Leith.

So dissapointed with the hotel. The pictures on the internet of the hotel were not like the hotel. They must of been taken at a defferent angle because it really was nothing like it. Very central.
